We're calling on young people to face the damage and premature ageing inflicted on their skin by sunbeds.

Our R UV UGLY? campaign targets young people as well as "influencers" of sunbed users aged 28-44, for example mums and sisters. These influencers can play a key role in shaping young people's attitudes and behaviour towards sunbeds.

We have teamed up with the skin clinic, Sk:n, to offer free UV skin scans at Open Days throughout February and March. Visit our SunSmart website to check dates in your local area and to grab a free UV skin scan for you and a friend or family member.

The campaign will also hit the road in February and March. You can find us at:

• Manchester Arndale Centre between Friday 24 and Sunday 26 February
• Newcastle Metro Centre between Friday 2 and Sunday 4 March.
