There are lots of fundraising events for Cancer Research UK throughout the year. There's something to suit everyone – whatever your gender, age, interest or ability. Here are just a few examples:

Shine

Shine is Cancer Research UK's night-time walking marathon. You can choose to either walk the full marathon (26.2 miles) or half marathon (13.1 miles) to raise awareness and funds for our groundbreaking research.

What makes Shine unique is that you can select which type of cancer you want to raise money for or you can also raise funds for our general work. Either way, you can be sure that the funds you raise will be spent wisely where they are needed most.

Relay For Life

Relay For Life is an inspirational 24-hour community event that celebrates and remembers people touched by cancer. It's a mixture of many things – a walking event, a party and a community fête. But above all it’s a fun way to get together with people in your community and raise money for Cancer Research UK.
