The course

This fantastic course takes in some of the most impressive sites and views of this beautiful historic city. Running through the shopping centre, coursing around market square, journeying through the privileged grounds of Kings College, before finally reaching the festival atmosphere of Jesus Green to enjoy a well earned afternoon in the park.

Meeting point

The meeting point is on Parker's Piece - bring friends and family to cheer you on your way.

On the day

Light refreshments, a hearty warm up and some fun onstage entertainment can be enjoyed before setting off. Spectators are encouraged to follow their own shortcut route to Jesus Green to help reduce the congestion on the street - welcoming you back to enjoy the numerous stalls, activities and delicious food to sample.

Pop over to the Brioche Pasquier supporters' picnic area; it's filled with activities and goodies so be sure to get involved!

The City Centre is closed for Race for Life including all street parking on the route, but access is maintained for city car parks.

Numerous roads around the City Centre are closed from 7.00am as we prepare for the day, so allow yourself plenty of time for our prompt 11.00am start. Stagecoach and Park and Ride Buses provide additional services on a diversionary route but do look out for the Cambridge Evening News supplement for full details.
