Show cancer who’s boss by taking on a 5k Race for Life event. Run, walk or dance your way through the course and help us say "cancer we're coming to get you."
Adult entry (16+ women-only) - £14.99
Child entry (6-15 girls and boys under 13) - £10
Under 6 entry (boys and girls) - free and no registration needed
You and your friends can also take part by volunteering. Our events can't take place without the hundreds of people who give up their time for a few hours to set up the courses and get everyone in the Race for Life mood. Find out more and register to be a volunteer.
Starting at the Racecourse, the event takes a scenic route through the historic Chester city centre. Featuring a mix of terrain with roads, footpaths and grassed areas at the start and finish, the event has an amazing atmosphere.
The start line is in the centre of the Racecourse, with various entrances around the venue.
On the day
Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. There will also be some extra activities and items to buy so please remember to bring some spare change.

Parking and travel information
Please arrive at least an hour before the start of your Race for Life event to avoid queuing.
Free parking is available at the Racecourse. Access to the Racecourse closes at 8.30am due to road closures througout the city.After this time please use city centre car parks.
Please note that parking charges apply in city centre car parks.
The nearest station is Chester. The station is a 20-30 minute walk from the venue through the picturesque Chester city centre.
