Show cancer who’s boss by taking on a 5k Race for Life event. Run, walk or dance your way through the course and help us say "cancer we're coming to get you."

You and your friends can also take part by volunteering. Our events can't take place without the hundreds of people who give up their time for a few hours to set up the courses and get everyone in the Race for Life mood. Find out more and register to be a volunteer.
We’ve set up a Facebook page especially for Race for Life Oxford, and will be updating it will all your need-to-know information. Make sure you don’t miss out by joining the page.
Beginning in the scenic University Parks, you will then head out onto the historic streets of Oxford. Heading down Longwall Street, High Street, then proceeding under the Bridge of Sighs and along Parks road, where you re-enter the park at Norham Gardens and finish your 5k to cheers outside the cricket clubhouse.
The meeting point is the stage, which will be situated in the main University parks field (off Parks Road).
On the day
Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. At the finish there will be activities and stalls for all the family, including face painting, sports tasters and catering.
Pop over to the Brioche Pasquier supporters' picnic area; it's filled with activities and goodies so be sure to get involved!
The Pink Lady® gang will be giving out free Pink Lady® apples, and will be offering free WiFi at their tent. So be sure to come and say hello. You can't miss them!

Parking and travel information
Please arrive at least an hour before the start of your Race for Life event to avoid queuing.
We are unable to provide parking at this event. Please use public transport and the park and ride to travel into Oxford where possible. Oxford Bus Company will be providing additional services on the day in support of the event.

A number of roads around the city centre are closed from 9.00am as we prepare for the day, so allow yourself plenty of time for our prompt 10.00am start.
There will be a small drop off zone provided on Norham Gardens.
