Show cancer who’s boss by taking on a 5k or a 10k Race for Life event. Run, walk or dance your way through the course and help us say "cancer we're coming to get you."

Starting & finishing on the picturesque Hoe promenade - adjacent to Smeaton’s Tower - the course provides fantastic views of the sea and a great atmosphere. The course is all on hard-standing and winds around the Hoe & surrounding areas, so please do expect several hills.
The start line is on the Hoe promenade, adjacent to Smeaton’s Tower.
On the day
Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. They can stroll around the various stalls that will be providing entertainment and refreshments, all whilst listening to entertainment provided by our radio partner, Heart.

Parking and travel information
Please arrive at least an hour before the start of your Race for Life event to avoid queuing.
There is no event car park. Please use City Centre and local car parks or use public transport. Local roads around The Hoe are closed on 22nd June as they form part of the Race for Life course, so please allow additional time to arrive at the event.
As there is no car park for this event, please do use city centre (which is a short walk away) and other local car parks. Plymouth train station is about a 25 minute walk away from the event, and the bus station is about a 15 minute walk away. Alternatively, do consider a carpool in a taxi with friends.
