Take part

Show cancer who’s boss by taking on a 5k or a 10k Race for Life event. Run, walk or dance your way through the course and help us say "cancer we're coming to get you."

You and your friends can also take part by volunteering. Our events can't take place without the hundreds of people who give up their time for a few hours to set up the courses and get everyone in the Race for Life mood. Find out more and register to be a volunteer.

The course

The course is situated in the grounds of The University of Stirling. You will enjoy a mixture terrain including grass, pathways and a small hill towards the golf course. You will pass by the amazing Airthey Loch, taking in the view of the Wallace Monument, before heading towards the athletics track within the event site to the finish.

Meeting point

The meeting point will be within the main event site behind the Gannachy Sports Centre.

On the day

You will be able to enjoy the pre-event warm up along with visiting our face painter and other stalls.

Public transport

To prevent congestion, we strongly recommend you use public transport or car share to your Race for Life event.

Parking and travel information

Please arrive at least an hour before the start of your Race for Life event to avoid queuing.

Parking available at the venue, follow event signage

Parking is available within the campus car parks. Please follow the signs and directions from the stewards on the day.

Stirling train station is about a 40 minutes away, or Bridge of Allan train station is around a 25 minute walk away.
