The basics
Make sure that you have:
- Running number and back sign that you received in your Race for Life pack
- Trainers or comfy shoes, appropriate for walking, running or dancing
- Breathable clothing and a good sports bra
- Sun hat and sunglasses, as well as factor 15+ sunscreen to help protect you from strong sun
- Water to keep hydrated
Fancy dress and finishing touches
Wearing fancy dress or adding some accessories to your Race for Life outfit is totally up to you. We think it's a great way to unite and make the day extra special.
Many women wear fairy wings, feather boas, deely boppers and tutus. Make a night in of it and organise a get-together before your event to plan or design your outfits with friends and family.
