We will raise money all the way
Your pupils are incredible. They’re the generation that will see cancer cures in their lifetime. They’ll be the lifesavers of the future. And for one afternoon, they’ll be an unstoppable force against cancer at your Race for Life.
Race for Life for primary schools is free and really easy to organise. It's a great opportunity for your pupils to get involved in a fantastic cause and help us beat cancer sooner.
You can get the whole school involved in Race for Life – it could even form part of your sports day or a citizenship challenge. Your race day could also count towards your Ofsted Citizenship objectives.

Fundraising for your primary school event
This generation will help beat cancer sooner. The best way to do that is to encourage your pupils and their parents to spread the word about the event and raise as much money as they can either through sponsorship or fundraising.
For great tips and ideas, take a look at our kids fundraising pack.
Once you’ve signed up you should set up an online JustGiving page as this is the easiest and most secure way to collect donations. Just use your URN (unique reference number) you’ll receive in your welcome email.
It’s safe, simple and secure to use and you can then share the link with pupils and parents to collect any money they raise.
... or fundraise offline
If you’d rather raise money offline, you will receive an offline sponsorship form for every pupil taking part in your free event kit, but you can also print more.
Spread the word
Don’t forget to shout about the fact your school is putting on a Race for Life event of your own by putting it in your newsletters or use our press release template to tell your local press! You just need to download, edit and send it on to your local media contacts.
