How far is 10k?

Anyone can do a 10k

10K Race for Life

If you’ve done a 5k Race for Life before, this is your year to try a 10k event. It’s a great intro to a 10k distance with just the right amount of challenge.

10 kilometres is just over 6 miles. That might sound long, but most people can walk it in under two hours – just like a stroll in the countryside.

Sign up for your 10k Race for Life

Ready to join us? Everyone’s a winner at Race for Life – our events are completely non-competitive and there's no pressure to finish in a certain time.

Feel like challenging yourself? Our 10k is chip-timed, so you find out if you’ve beaten your personal best – while you’re helping to beat cancer.
