Half Marathon events
Try a new challenge
A Half Marathon is 13.1 miles (or 21k) and is the perfect challenge for women who have previously taken part in one of our 10k events and want to push themselves one step further.
It may be a Half Marathon but it’s still Race for Life so we’ll be here every step of the way to support you in your fundraising and training. As with our other events, you can take part however you want - whether you run, jog or walk parts of the course, it’s up to you.
We are still finalising details of this year's events but you can register your interest here and we will email you as soon as entries open.
How long does it take to complete a half marathon?
We will do everything we can to support you throughout your race. We want to get you to that finish line but for operational reasons we do have a time limit.
For Half Marathon routes this will be 5 hours. This time limit accommodates someone who continually walks the course - however we don’t recommend this and everyone to be able to jog for at least significant portions of the route.
Anyone who is unable to complete the course within 5 hours will be supported by our event staff to return safely to the main event area.
