Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
The start line is at the top of the field of Abington Park, alongside the event parking.
Free event parking will be provided at the venue. Please car share where possible due to the large number of participants attending. Alternatively please use local car parks or public transport where possible.
The Northampton Pretty Muddy Kids route meanders through the very scenic Abington Park. The route is on a mix of pathways and grass.
Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
Whilst this event is not accessible for wheelchair users given the nature of the obstacles, the event site is accessible for spectators with wheelchairs. There will be blue badge holder parking available at the top of the event car park (within Abington Park), approximately 100m from the start/finish area. The car park and event site are on a grass field which can get boggy in poor weather conditions.
Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run around the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
