Course information

The Middlesbrough route is a double loop of the beautiful Albert Park. The route begins next to the band stand and loops round the entire park before heading back to the event site, passing the fountain, tennis courts and the Mirador lower lake along the way.

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time

Meeting point

The start and finish lines are situated in the large field within Albert Park next to the band stand.

There is limited parking available surrounding Albert Park with a small number of disabled parking bays within the park itself.  Please use public transport, walk or cycle to the event.  Middlesbrough train station is a 24 minute walk from Albert Park or alternatively there are a number of regular bus services. Please visit Traveline North East website which can help you plan your journey.

Supporter / spectator access

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single-use plastic bottles.
