Course information

The 10k double lap course offers an exclusive look into Arley’s stunning grounds. The terrain is a mixture of tarmac roads, woodland paths and fields that are hilly in parts. Due to parts of the course being in the woods and on grass, it may become slightly muddy underfoot depending on recent weather conditions.

Please bring a reusable water bottle with you if you require water during the event.

Meeting point

The meeting point and the start line is located within the same field as the carpark and will be visible upon arrival.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.

There is an official Race for Life car park, free of charge at the venue.

Arley Hall is signposted from Junction 9/10 on the M56 and Junction 19/20 on the M6. Follow the brown tourist signs. Once closer to the venue, it is essential to follow the Traffic Management signs for directions. Race for Life signs will guide you to the correct carpark. Please turn off the Satnav once you pick up Race for Life signs; this will assist you in the smoothest entrance to the event.

Unfortunately, we would advise that the event is unsuitable for wheelchairs and mobility aids.

The terrain is a mixture of paths, grass and features a a large wooded area. The grass section in particular has an uneven surface and includes inclines and declines.

If spectating, the event site and car park are also all mostly on grass, so those with accessibility issues may require assistance on the uneven surfaces. Please be aware that in wet weather ground conditions on the grassed areas can deteriorate quickly.

Disabled parking is available at the event car park.

Supporter / spectator access

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19.  Please refer to the section ‘ how we are keeping you safe’ https://raceforlife.cancerresearchuk.org/your-safety for further updates.
