Course information

The Poole route is beautiful. It takes in the sights of Poole Park, Whitecliff Recreational Ground and Harbourside. It is flat throughout so is lovely and gentle. Dogs are welcome at this event. With local supporters cheering you on, you are sure to have a great experience.

Meeting point

The meeting point is in Baiter Park. Please arrive 1 hour before the start of the race.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll  be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.

There is limited parking around Baiter Park in car parks Harbourside 1 and 2. Please plan your journey and use town centre car parks where possible. Baiter Park is a short walk from the town centre and a 15 minute walk from Poole train station.

The Poole course begins on Baiter Park with a short incline on grass, a gravel path and through a field where the grass is trodden down to make a track. The route follows the road through Poole Park and around the lake into Whitecliff Harbourside Park. From there the route is on well cut grass until the finish line. Due to these elements we deem the route as suitable for wheelchair users with assistance.

Supporter / spectator access

Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell.  They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
