The Fife course meanders through the woodlands of Beveridge Park, passing by the boating lake and the sweet-smelling Rose Garden. The double-lap course is mainly run on paths and grass, but can be steep at times.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
There is no parking available at this event. The start line is approximately a 20 minute walk from Kirkcaldy city centre and 15 minutes from Kirkcaldy train station. There are a number of bus services that stop just a short walk from Beveridge Park. Please use the Traveline Scotland website to plan your journey.
This event is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance. The majority of the course is on uneven grass with some inclines which could make conditions difficult in bad weather. The course can be adapted by keeping to the perimeter path of the park however this will significantly reduce the distance.
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. Please refer to the section ‘ how we are keeping you safe’ https://raceforlife.cancerresearchuk.org/your-safety for further updates.
