The Fife course meanders through the woodlands of Beveridge Park, passing by the boating lake and the sweet-smelling Rose Garden. The course is mainly run on paths and grass, but can be steep at times
The meeting point and start line is within Beveridge Park, beside Kirkcaldy Rugby Football Club. The nearest entrance of the park to the start line is on Abbotshall Road. Please arrive 1 hour before the start time of your race.
There is no parking available at this event. The start line is approximately a 20 minute walk from Kirkcaldy city centre and 15 minutes from Kirkcaldy train station. There are a number of bus services that stop just a short walk from Beveridge Park. Please use the Traveline Scotland website to plan your journey.
This route is accessible to wheelchair users, but due to the large majority of the course being on grass assistance is required. Due to the largely grass route, if the weather is bad, a large section of the course will be inaccessible to wheelchair users.
Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. There are many points around the course, within walking distance from the start and finish lines, that they will be able to see you run past to cheer you on.
