Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
There is no parking available at this event. The start line is approximately a 20 minute walk from Kirkcaldy city centre and 15 minutes from Kirkcaldy train station. There are a number of bus services that stop just a short walk from Beveridge Park. Please use the Traveline Scotland website to plan your journey.
The Fife course meanders through the woodlands of Beveridge Park, passing by the boating lake and the sweet-smelling Rose Garden. The course is mainly run on paths and grass, but can be steep at times. There are lots of fun and muddy obstacles along the way to get you ‘pretty muddy’.
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the obstacles in this event, it is unsuitable for wheelchair users.
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. Please refer to the section ‘ how we are keeping you safe’ https://raceforlife.cancerresearchuk.org/your-safety for further updates.
