10k is a great step up from our 5k events, that's still achievable for everyone. Join a Race for Life 10k event and help raise valuable funds for cancer-beating research.

The 10k course is a double lap route on the roads alongside the picturesque River Ness, crossing over Ness Bridge and Ness Islands.
Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.
Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

The start line is located on the Bught Park playing fields.

There are a number of buses that service Bught Park and Inverness train station is a 20 minute walk from the start line. Visit travelinescotland.com for help with planning your journey.
There is no event parking but there are a number of car parks in the city centre, only a short walk from the start line.
Please note, the Infirmary Brigde will be closed for the duration of the event for safety reasons at the request of Highland Council. Please use Ness Bridge as an alternative.
This course is accessible to wheelchair users in dry weather, but due to a sizeable section of the course being on grass and woodland paths, assistance is recommended.
In wet weather a large section of the course will become inaccessible to wheelchair users which significantly reduce the distance. The grass start and finish area will also be difficult to access.
Blue badge parking is available next to the start area.

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.
Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single-use plastic bottles.
