If you love walking in the great outdoors then this is the event for you. Take on 20 to 26 miles of stunning countryside. Walk alongside hundreds of other strong women. Raise valuable funds for research. THIS IS BEATING CANCER.

On leaving the Bakewell County Showground, you'll join the Monsal Trail heading along a former Midland railway line before dropping into the magnificent Monsal Dale. Ascending through Deep Dale, you'll head south west past the Village of Monyash before joining the Pennine Bridleway and heading South East to join the High Peak Trail. The final stretch will take you South to Carsington Water and the finish line. Distance approx 25.5 miles.
It is a beautiful hike, taking in the rugged scenery of the Peak District and offering breathtaking views across the Peaks.
This hike is suitable for experienced hikers, plus beginners who have prepared and trained. It is mostly on paths, with a few grass/off road sections, which can get muddy in wet weather. Please wear clothing and footwear suitable for varied terrain and weather conditions. The route incorporates 3 support points, offering refreshments and toilet facilities.
Registration will be at Carsington Water Visitor Centre. From here, participants will be bussed to the start line at Bakewell Showground. The event will end at Carsington Water Visitor Centre
Check in will be open between 6.30 - 7.00am. The final bus will depart from Carsington Water at 7.25am at the very latest.
Please ensure you arrive with enough time to park up, walk to the registration area, collect your map, lanyard and briefing.
Please also note that there is a charge for parking at Carsington Water, to be paid in the morning. Further details on costs will posted as soon as we have these available.
Spectators are welcome to see you off at the start, cheer you back at the finish, and meet up with you at one of our three support points along the way (but they will require their own transport to do so). Details will be available on the morning - please ask at the Enquiries Marquee for locations / postcodes.
