Watford Pretty Muddy Kids
Saturday 18 Sep 2021
£10.00 Children | £0.00 Supervising Adult
Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.
Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as and when needed.
The start line is in the main open field near the paddling pools.
The town centre car parks and Watford underground station are just a short walk away from the park. Buses such as 320, 321 and W1 serve Watford town centre. Please plan your journey in advance as Cassiobury Park car park is closed all day and there tends to be a lot of congestion in the surrounding roads.
The Watford Pretty Muddy Kids route is set in the beautiful, family-friendly Cassiobury Park. The 5k course follows tree-lined paths and grass avenues, with a mixture of terrains. There are plenty of opportunities for friends and family to enjoy watching you and your Muddy Kid take on the obstacles. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
Due to the nature of the obstacles and the terrain, this event is not suitable for wheelchair users.
If you require any further information on the accessibility of a Race for Life event, or wish to bring a carer/helper to accompany you, please contact our Supporter Hotline on 0300 123 0770 and press 1 when prompted (Opening hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday) or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run around the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
