Plymouth Pretty Muddy Kids
Sunday 15 Aug 2021
£0.00 Supervising Adult | £10.00 Children
Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.
Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.
The start line is close to the entrance of the park opposite the Plymouth Life Centre. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
Limited parking is available at the venue so we suggest walking or taking public transport where possible. Plymouth train station is a 15 minute walk and a bus service is also in operation from the city centre.
This event has some extra challenges thrown in with some fun obstacles to do together. There are lots of opportunities for supporters to watch the fun at each obstacle and the whole event has a fantastic atmosphere.
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Obstacle layout will vary from venue to venue and adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
The Pretty Muddy Plymouth route follows pathways around Central Park, with woodland and open parkland sections. The route is hilly in places and is a mixture of grass and pathways within the park.
Whist this course is not accessible for wheelchair users given the nature of the obstacles, the event site is accessible. There are blue badge holder parking spaces adjacent to the Life Centre, and the main event site has tarmac running adjacent to the finish line in case the grass is affected by wet weather.
Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
