Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.

Meeting point

The start line is situated  close to the entrance of the Central park opposite the Plymouth Life Centre.

There is limited parking available at Milehouse Park & Ride car park, so we suggest car sharing or using public transport or nearby city centre car parks where possible.

Disabled & Accessible parking is also available at Milehouse Park & Ride car park.

Plymouth train station is a 20 minute walk to the event site.

Course information

The Pretty Muddy Kids in Plymouth route follows pathways around Central Park, with woodland and open parkland sections. The route is steep in places and is a mixture of grass and pathways within the park. There are lots of opportunities for supporters to watch the fun at each obstacle and the whole event has a fantastic atmosphere.

Please arrive 15 to 20mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Whist this course is not accessible for wheelchair users given the nature of the obstacles, the event site is accessible. There are blue badge holder parking spaces adjacent to the Life Centre, and the main event site has tarmac running adjacent to the finish line in case the grass is affected by wet weather.
