The Caernarfon route is along the scenic Menai Straight, featuring the Anglesey shore as a background. The course is mainly on a flat tarmac road with incredible views of the Snowdonia Mountains and Caernarfon Castle.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we'll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additonal start times may become available as/when needed.
The start line and main event area are located in Coed Helen Recreation Ground football pitch. Once you have parked please make your way to the Caernarfon Harbour, cross the pedestrian bridge and turn right along the shore until you see the entrance sign to the recreation ground.
There are 3 official car parks on the day: Harbour, Multi-storey and Shell car park. There will be event signage from the main roads to direct you and stewards as you arrive. Blue Badge users are advised to park at the Harbour car park.
This event is suitbale for wheelcair users as the course is mainly on tarmac except the event site, and flat throughout.
Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
