The Crystal Palace 5K course is a single lap mainly on tarmac, and runs in and around the grounds of the park. There is a small section that runs on grass up by the ruins, but can be avoided. It has a few small hills along the way but it is a lovely route. Oh, and watch out for the dinosaurs!
The meeting point is just down from the memorial bell in the main park.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we will be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as or when needed.
There is no parking at this event - please use public transport where possible. The nearest train station is Crystal Palace or Penge West station, both a small walk from the event site.
Unfortunately, this event has been classified as unsuitable for wheelchair users due to the nature of the terrain on the course route - this includes a grass event site and a large number of grassy stretches that can not be avoided on the course. People with visual impairments are welcome to take part with a guide.
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19.
