This course is a mixture of paved pathways and grassy terrain, within Fairlands Valley Park. It crosses the road using the underpass, and takes in the boating lake and lots of lovely tree-lined pathways. We advise that this is wheelchair accessible with assistance due to some minor inclines throughout the route. The 10k route is double lap of the 5k route.
Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
The meeting point is in the centre of Fairland’s Valley Park Showground, between Broadhall Way and Six Hills Way.
If using what3words, enter ///fines.haven.sharp in the free app, to find the exact starting point.
Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.
There is free car parking available in the event car park which you must access via Broadhall Way (please use this postcode SG2 9BN). Please follow the yellow directional signage on the day. If travelling via public transport, we recommend catching a bus from Stevenage Town Bus Station to the Roaring Meg and walking from there. Alternatively, Stevenage Train Station is a 30 minute walk away.
