Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Meeting point

The meeting point is the grass area approximately half way between Finsbury Gate and Manor Gate entrance to the park.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we will be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as or when needed.

There is no car parking available at this event. Participants are advised to use public transport. There are several close stations including Finsbury Park and Manor House station. There are also numerous London bus stops in the vicinity.

Course information

The Finsbury Park Pretty Muddy event takes place mainly on paths, main carriageway and grass areas of the park. There are some slight hills as part of the course. There are lots of fun and muddy obstacles along the way to get you ‘pretty muddy’. (All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.)

Unfotunately due to the nature of the event this event is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Supporter / spectator access

Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell.  They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
