In 2022 we will be providing some car parking at Gloucester Park, to reduce congestion in the local area. This is limited but Gloucester Park is a short walk from the Town Centre so the Town Centre car parks are also an option. We ask that participants refrain from parking in the Retail Park please to avoid congestion in this area.
Designated cycle parking - There are 15 cycle spaces located at the front of the Basildon Sports Village building.
The car parking, event site and the route is majority on grass. However, the route does include some of the paved paths in Gloucester Park. The route is relatively flat but there are a few sections of uneven ground and inclines. We advise that this event is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance, but want to make participants aware that the ground can be quite uneven especially near the lake and if the weather is poor the area can get very muddy.
