Basildon Pretty Muddy Kids 2019
Basildon Pretty Muddy Kids
Sunday 16 Jun 2019
£10.00 Children | £0.00 Supervising Adult
Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.
Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.
The start line is on the football pitches behind the Sporting Village.
There is no event parking at this venue. Please use town centre and public car parks. Further information can be found at: www.basildon.gov.uk/article/1139/Car-parks-in-Basildon-town-centre. A managed drop-off system will be operating in Basildon Sporting Village car park. Please do not park in restricted areas, as fines may apply.
The nearest rail station is Basildon.
The Basildon Pretty Muddy Kids route is a 5k course, fully contained within Gloucester Park. The terrain is on a mix of grass and paths, and is mostly flat.
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. At the majority of venues, there will be a shortcut available at approximately 2km or 3km, which will lead back to the finish line. This will signposted on the day. If the shortcut is taken, it may mean missing out some of the obstacles, but we will make sure all children get to take part in the muddy slide at the end.
Obstacle layout and shortcut distances will vary from venue to venue. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
Due to the nature of this event, it is not suitable for wheelchairs
Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support your Muddy Kid! There are no showers or changing facilities at this event, so you may wish to bring an old towel for your journey home.
