£10.00 Children | £0.00 Supervising Adult
Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.
Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
The meeting point/start line is within the large playing field behind the Graves Park Pavillion. This is clearly visible from the Cobnar Road pedestrian entrance and the designated event parking in the adjacent field.
Pedestrians: Please use the entrance through the Pavilion car park on Cobnar Road. A steward will direct you to the meeting point/start line. Please adhere to the one way system. Other pedestrian entrances to the park may also be used but please be vigilant as you may cross the course at multiple points on your way to the meeting point/start line.
General event parking: Please use the main gate into Graves Park on Cobnar Road. A steward will direct you to the car park. Please adhere to the one way system and 5mph restrictions at all times.
Blue badge parking: Please use the main gate into Graves Park on Cobnar Road. A steward will direct you to the blue badge car park area. Please adhere to the one way system and 5mph restrictions at all times.
Drop-offs: Participants can be dropped off in the allocated zone on Cobnar Road. A steward will direct you.
Public transport: Graves Park is accessible via public transport. Please use the below link to check availability
Our 5k Pretty Muddy Kids event offers a single lap route around the grounds of Graves Park. Less than 10% of the course is on an incline and the terrain is a mixture of grass, tarmac and narrow woodland paths which may be uneven in places.
There are a mixture of obstacles along the way to climb over and under, crawl through and slide down. These are designed to be suitable for kids of all levels of fitness and experience but they can conquer as many or as little as they feel comfortable with. Adults accompanying children can run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part in the obstacles for health and safety reasons.
Unfortunately this event cannot accomodate wheelchair users, pushchairs or dogs. Please see our other events for accessibility.
Please bring a reusable water bottle with you if you require water during the event, as there will only be water available at the finish, and remember, this event includes mud so bring a towel and change of clo
Wheelchair users: Unfortunately, none of our events are this venue are currently suitable for wheelchair users. This is due to the nature of the obstacles and large sections of the course being on grass or narrow woodland tracks with no suitable path available as an alternative. Nearby venues at Chesterfield and Doncaster offer alternative courses suitable for wheelchair users.
Pushchairs: Our Pretty Muddy events cannot accomodate pushchairs; please consider our 3k or 5k event at this venue
Dogs: Our Pretty Muddy events cannot accomodate dogs; please consider our 3k, 5k or 10k event at this venue
