Course information

This course is mainly on tarmac pathways through the park with a small amount on grass. It starts on the Showground, makes the most of some of the lovely wide walk ways surrounding the park and takes in many of the beautiful tree-lined paths within the park - these trees are usually in blossom when Race for Life takes place and it is stunning. It finishes back in the Showground.  We advise that this is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance as there are two large inclines located near School Lane in addition to some undulating paths throughout the route.  The 10k covers mainly two laps of the 5k course, going back into the showground inbetween laps - which is great for that half way encouragement from the spectators in the showground.

Please arrive 30 - 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time
