Course information

The Sunderland route is a double-lap set in the grounds of this former colliery and starts and finishes on the field adjacent to the children’s play area, in the shadow of the amazing Penshaw Monument. The route explores the park, taking in the lake, local wildlife and providing beautiful views across the North East.  The course is mainly on footpaths with a couple of hills along the way.
