The Salisbury 5k Race for Life starts and finishes on Hudson's Field on the edge of Salisbury. The route exits Hudson field onto Stratford road and runs on the road towards Little Durnford. Then turning right onto New Bottom Road and following farm track back towards Hudsons field via the Old Sarum. The course is mostly on cross country type tracks with undulating hills with spectacular views.
The start line is in Hudson's Field, access from Castle Road. On arrival, stewards will direct you into the car park and then you will be directed to the main event area.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as and when needed.
Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your start time.
Event car parking is available on Hudson's Field, access via Castle Road. Please do not park in surrounding cul-de-sacs.
The nearest train station is Salisbury, which is about a 30 minute walk from the venue.
This course is on a mixture of tarmac roads, country lanes and grass. The turning from Beech Road towards Field Barn Cottages is steep and follows a stoney track which then turns onto a public footpath across fields and through woodland. Therefore, the route is deemed not accessible for wheelchair or pushchair users.

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
We will be giving away bottled water at the finish line. But due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and our plans to reduce single use plastics at our events we encourage participants to bring their own water or hydration fluids on the day.
