The Hyde Park 5K course is a single lap which starts just north of the Bandstand and runs up towards Marble Arch, past the Joy of Life Fountain, towards the Reformers Tree in the centre of the park. It heads along North Carriage Drive, before heading south and past the Serpentine. From here, we run to the old football pitches where you can see the Albert Memorial in the distance, and back past the Serpentine waterfall. The course is all on paths, with a few crossings of the sandy horse ride. It is relatively flat with a few gentle slopes.
The main event site is between the Hyde Park Bandstand and Louisa Duckworth Walk.
Please use public transport to get to the event.
The Hyde Park Race for Life is an 8 minute walk from Hyde Park Corner (use Exit 1 and enter the park through the archway behind you) or a 7 minute walk from Knightsbridge.
The nearest step free access station is Green Park which is 0.9miles from the event.
The Hyde Park course is accessible with assistance. There are dropped kerbs across the route and the largest incline up is past the Serpentine Waterfall. It crosses the sandy horse ride 3 times.
