Course information

The Chelmsford route is a cross country, undulating course, fully contained within the beautiful grounds of Hylands Park. The terrain is largely flat, on grass with some slight inclines.  The 10k is likely to be a two laps of the 5k course with an additional small loop, but as this is estate land, the course is subject to change depending on the weather conditions in the lead up to the event.

Meeting point

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day.  Additional start times may become available as and when needed.

The start line is on the open grass area behind Flint Cottage.

There is free parking available at the venue. There will also be a designated drop-off zone inside the park, managed by stewards. Please do not try to enter the park via the main entrance for Hylands House off of Three Mile Hill. We ask that those driving to the venue follow the AA signage.

First Bus service 351 stops outside Hylands Park.

Supporter / spectator access

Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run around the course!

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19.  We will update on this nearer the time.
