Course information
The Chelmsford Pretty Muddy route is a cross country, undulating course, fully contained within the beautiful grounds of Hylands Park. The terrain is largely flat, on grass with some slight inclines.
Please arrive 15 to 20minis before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time
Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.
Meeting point
The start line is on the open grass area behind Flint Cottage.

There is free parking available at the venue. There will also be a designated drop-off zone inside the park, managed by stewards.
Please do not try to enter the park via the main entrance for Hylands House off of Three Mile Hill. We ask that those driving to the venue follow the AA signage.
First Bus service 351 stops outside Hylands Park.
Designated Cycle Parking - There are approximately 20 cycle spaces in the main car park (Writtle end) and there are also a few cycle spaces by the visitor centre.

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.
