Blackpool Pretty Muddy Kids
Saturday 14 Sep 2019
£10.00 Children | £0.00 Supervising Adult
Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.
Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.
The start line is in the main event area at Lawson's Showground.
Car parking is available at the venue. Please follow signage on event day to the available car parks.
There is limited parking space around the venue. If parking on the roads please ensure you are aware of any restrictions that may be applied.
The Pretty Muddy Blackpool course covers a varied route over a mixture of grass, forestry tracks and paved paths. The route is mostly flat and takes in views of the Showground and surrounding areas.
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. At the majority of venues, there will be a shortcut available at approximately 2km or 3km, which will lead back to the finish line. This will signposted on the day. If the shortcut is taken, it may mean missing out some of the obstacles, but we will make sure all children get to take part in the muddy slide at the end.
Obstacle layout and shortcut distances will vary from venue to venue. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
Due to the nature of the event it is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you, enjoy the atmosphere - and look after your change of clothes. There will be stalls and refreshments on the day for you to all enjoy. There are no showers or changing facilities at this event, so you may wish to bring an old towel for your journey home.
