Distance: Pretty Muddy 5k
The Pretty Muddy Swindon route meanders around Lydiard Park, taking in views of the house and lake. The course is primarily on pathways with two short sections on mowed grass. It is generally flat with a short incline towards the end. This Pretty Muddy event has our fun obstacles throughout the route to do together. There are lots of opportunities for supporters to watch the fun at each obstacle and the whole event has a fantastic atmosphere.
The start line is in the field next to the play area. Please listen to the commentator for instructions for starting your wave.
UPDATED INFORMATION ON CAR PARKING CHARGES: Please note there will be no parking charges for participants and spectators parking on the official event car park up until 2pm. Normal parking charges will apply to the rest of Lydiard Park, so please ensure you follow the signage to ensure you do not have to pay.
To park follow signs for Lydiard Park NOT Lydiard House, via Hook Street. Follow signs and stewards directions. Parking is not permitted on or via Hay Lane by Lydiard House. Please car share where possible to avoid queues.

This event is not deemed suitable for wheelchair users.
Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. They can stroll around the stalls, pick up some food, enjoy activities such as a bouncy castle while waiting to cheer you through the finish. Then afterwards you can stay, perhaps have a picnic in the park, and reflect on your achievement and reason for taking part.
