Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.
Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.

The meeting point is in the open area opposite the Football Golf.

There will be car parking at Markeaton Park Craft Village car park and The Mundy Play Centre car park spaces are limited and normal charges apply. Car parking is also available at Derby University, please follow event signs. Disabled parking is available at all parking locations.
The nearest station is Derby Train Station. It is then a 25 minute walk to the event so we recommend taxi sharing with friends from the station.
There are also many bus routes passing Markeaton Park.

Course information
The Pretty Muddy event is set in over 200 acres of parkland, within Markeaton Park. A picturesque venue featuring many different gardens and wildlife areas it one of the most popular parks in the East Midlands.
Obstacle layout will vary from venue to venue. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
Please arrive 15 to 20mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time
