Course information

The Cleethorpes 10k course is a single lap route, which goes along the seafront path towards the leisure centre and then comes back through the boating lake. It then crosses Kings Road and continues twice around Cleethorpes Country Park before heading back the same way to Meridian Showground to finish. It is mainly on tarmac pathways with two stretches of grass along either side of the beck.

Meeting point

Meet in the grounds of Meridian Showground

There is plenty of pay and display car parking close by to Meridian Showground. Due to King’s Road being closed for the event, the Craft Centre car park and Meridian car park will not be accessible. Cleethorpes is the nearest train station and is about a 25 minute walk away or 10 minutes via public transport. The Miniature railway will also be running to the event on the day; timetable can be found here http://www.cclr.co.uk/timetablefares/

Dogs allowed
Not suitable for pushchairs
Not wheelchair accessible
No bag drop
No showers

We would not recommend the 10k route for wheelchair users. Although the first half of the course is mainly flat and comprises of tarmac pathways, the second half of the route has large sections of grass which can be uneven in places and there are some gravel trails.

Supporter / spectator access

There are lots of spectator viewing points along the course.
