Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.
Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.

To find the meeting point, enter the Showground through the main event entrance and look straight ahead and slightly to the right; you should clearly see the main event area with our marquees, flags and gantry. Please listen out for your group start time to be called to the stage for your energiser.

The Showground is situated just off the A47 Norwich Southern Bypass at the A1074 Longwater Interchange, follow signs for Norfolk Showground.
Please follow event signs along Dereham Road heading towards Easton. Turn into Dunham Road (West side of the showground) for access to the car parks and event site.
There is free car parking at the Showground, please follow event signs and directions from the stewards.
All parking is on grass and a 5 minute walk to the main event area.

The Norwich Pretty Muddy Kids route is a 5k course on a mixture of grass and paths, winding its way around all areas of the showground. It is fairly flat, though does pass through a tree lined area. There are several cheering points along the way providing a fantastic atmosphere.
Adults should run/walk alongside the children on the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
There will not be any water refill stations along the course so if you require water during the event, please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle already filled up. You will be able to refill this at the refill station when you finish.
Please arrive 15 to 20 mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
Our courses have been measured with a measuring wheel. This is the most accurate measurement method and may not always correspond with digital tracking apps and watches.
Due to the nature of the event it is not suitable for wheelchair users. Do to the nature of this event - no dogs are allowed.
If you feel you might need extra help at the event please do pick up a special badge at the Blue Enquires Marquee so that our crew and volunteers can look out for you.
