Distance: 5k
The Richmond course begins in Old Deer Park behind Pools on the Park. It runs around the perimeter of the park past the obelisk and the river Thames, before running back on itself. The entire course is on grass and is relatively flat throughout.
The meeting point is in Old Deer Park by the tennis courts behind Pools on the Park Leisure Centre.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we will be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as or when needed.
Please use public transport to get to the event – the nearest station is Richmond station which is both on the main line and the District line. It is a 5 minute walk to the event site. Richmond station has a lift and is wheelchair accessible.
There is limited public pay and display parking at the Old Deer Car Park across the road from the event area. Please use the footbridge and follow signs to access the event from here.
The Richmond Race for Life course is suitable for wheelchairs with assistance. The event takes place within Old Deer Park playing field, and is entirely on grass. It is relatively flat.
