Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.

Meeting point

The start line is behind the Ozone Leisure Centre and can be accessed by the main entrance on the Ormeau Embankment or the park gates on the junction of the Ormeau Embankment and Ravenhill Road.

 

There is no parking at the venue for this event. Instead we recommend using public transport with multiple bus routes stopping nearby.

Course information

The Pretty Muddy Belfast course starts and finishes on the field behind the Ozone Leisure Centre. The 5k route is fully contained within the park and covers a mix of terrain, from grass pitches to paved paths and woodland areas.

All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.

Unfortunately due to the nature of the obstacles, this event is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Supporter / spectator access

Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. They can enjoy the activities in the main event area, get some delicious food and cheer you through an array of obstacles including the Durdles and infamous Mud Chute. The course is completely open to spectators with lots of opportunities to see you overcoming the obstacles.
