Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.

Meeting point

The meeting point and start line is beside the Burrell Collection within Pollok Country Park.

There is very limited parking available at this event. Please car share or use public transport where possible. This will help with the congestion entering and exiting the park. The start line is approximately a 15 minute walk from Pollokshaws West train station and 20 minutes from Shawlands train station. There are a number of bus services that stop just a short walk from Pollok Country Park. Please use the Traveline Scotland website to plan your journey.

Course information

The Glasgow route meanders through the muddy paths of Pollok Country Park before running past Pollok House – a stunning stately home built in the 18th century.

All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the obstacles in this event, it is unsuitable for wheelchair users.

Supporter / spectator access

Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. The course is completely open to spectators so there are lots of opportunity to see you in action on the obstacles, within walking distance from the start and finish lines.
