Our 3k event offers a single lap route through the Open Air Theatre and along the promenade. The terrain is all path and road and is suitable for all levels of fitness and experience.
This event can accomodate wheelchair users but please be mindful that although this course is all path and road and predominantly flat, there is a 50m steep hill section leading from the promenade to the Open Air Theatre which will require assistance.
Please bring a reusable water bottle with you if you require water during the event, as there will only be water available at the finish.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
The meeting point/start line is within the Sealife Centre car park. This is clearly visible from the Scalby Mills entrance.
Pedestrians: Please use the Scalby Mills Road entrance, adhering to the one way system. Please do not approach from along the promenade as this forms part of the course and there is no access to the meeting point/start line from here.
General event parking: General car parking is not available at this venue. On-street parking is available along Scalby Mills Road and Alpamare and Ryndle Crescent public car parks are less than 20 minutes walk to the meeting point/start line.
Blue badge parking: Please use the Scalby Mills Road entrance into the Sealife Centre car park. A steward will direct you to the blue badge car park area. Please adhere to the 5mph restrictions at all times.
Drop-offs: Participants can be dropped off in the allocated zone on Scalby Mills Road. A steward will direct you.
