Course information

The Sherborne route is a fairly flat cross-country course with a challenging incline. A mixture of terrain consisting of grass, tracks and internal roads that wind around the picturesque grounds of the castle. The middle section of the route runs alongside the lake and through the castle gardens towards the 10k section which takes in the breathtaking views of Sherborne Castle through woodland back to the castle grounds. Unfortunatley no dogs are allowed on the route due to the course going through a Deer Park.

Meeting point

The start line is in front of Sherborne Castle on the large area of grass.

Car parking is available at the venue. Please car share where possible to reduce the number of cars coming to the event. If you are travelling from the east e.g. Shaftesbury/Gillingham or North e.g. Wincanton, please use the A30 to Milborne Port and look for the signs to our second entrance to the venue.

The nearest train station is Sherborne Station, which is a few minutes drive from the venue. It is an unsuitable walking route from the station to the venue, so a taxi would be advisable.
