The meeting point is on Southsea Common, on the adjacent field to Clarence Esplanade. Please arrive one hour before the start of your race.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
Although parking has previously been available for this event on Southsea Common, unfortunately, this is no longer the case. Please use City Centre Car Parks or the Park and Ride service. Please click the link for P&R information http://parkandride.portsmouth.gov.uk/whatson.shtml
The Portsmouth route is on flat grass throughout. It takes you around Southsea Common, with beautiful views of Southsea and the Seafront. This venue always provides an amazing atmosphere.
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km and obstacle layout will vary from venue to venue. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
Due to the nature of the event it is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
