Course information

The Eastbourne route is a lovely flat, one-lap course on grass and park tracks. With local supporters cheering you on, you are sure to have a great experience.

Meeting point

The meeting point is on the main field between the astroturf and the athletics track.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll  be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.

The nearest station is Hampden Park which is about a 15 minute walk away from the venue. There are several car parks at the venue available to participants.

Parking

The Eastbourne course is very flat and covers a wide variety of terrain. The majority of the route is on grass sports fields. There is a short section on tarmac and a kilometer on woodland paths which can be uneven with tree routes. With these factors in mind we suggest the Eastbourne course to be suitable for wheelchair users with assistance.

Supporter / spectator access

Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell.  They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
