Meeting point

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day.  Additional start times may become available as and when needed.

The start line is on the south side of the park, behind the boating lake reception.

Parking is available at Stanborough Park but please be aware that parking fees apply and cameras are in operation. Follow the instructions on the payment machines as to how to activate your Race for Life discounted parking rate. Parking is limited so please use public transport where possible. There will be no parking available at the Police HQ car park this year

Vehicles will be unable to leave the north car park whilst the road closure is in place for the event. If you need to leave before that, please let the stewards know so they can direct you to alternative parking.

Supporter / spectator access

Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19.  Please refer to the section ‘ how we are keeping you safe’ https://raceforlife.cancerresearchuk.org/your-safety for further updates.
