Race for Life Pretty Muddy is our brilliant 5k muddy obstacle course. Scramble over the A-frame. Crawl through the mud pit. Have fun with your friends. And raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Course information
The Welwyn and Hatfield Pretty Muddy route is set within the grounds of the beautiful Stanborough Park and includes a number of uphill and downhill grassy slopes, as well as three shallow river crossings - so be prepared to get wet, as well as muddy!
There will not be any water refill stations along the course so if you require water during the event, please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle already filled up. You will be able to refill this at the refill station when you finish.
Please arrive 15 to 20 mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
Our courses have been measured with a measuring wheel. This is the most accurate measurement method and may not always correspond with digital tracking apps and watches.
Meeting point
The start line is on the south side of the park, behind the boating lake reception.

Limited parking will be available in the south and north Stanborough Park car parks. Please be aware that parking fees apply here and cameras will be in operation. Follow the instructions on the payment machines as to how to activate the Race for Life discounted parking rate.

Due to the nature of the event it is not suitable for wheelchair users. The nearby Stevenage Race for Life is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance. Supporter / spectator access
We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.
Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single-use plastic bottles.
Do to the nature of this event - no dogs are allowed.
If you feel you might need extra help at the event please do pick up a special badge at the Blue Enquires Marquee so that our crew and volunteers can look out for you.
